Description

A great dark berry fig that ripens with a purplish color inside.  It is one of the best price/taste varieties.  VDB has long fingered leaves, and the figs darken a while before they are fully ripe.  Do not pick them as soon as they turn dark, but wait until the neck is soft to get the best flavor.  It does also produce breba sometimes too.
